Responsibilities


  1. Lead new product launches and Life Cycle Management (LCM) in the Japan market for regional & local products, including making proposals to decision making bodies, such as the Manufacturing and Supply Committee (MSC), Production Leadership Committee (PLC)
  2. Create proposals for the optimization and stabilization of product supply for the Japan market with project teams
  3. Manage In/Out-licensing partners in terms of commercial supply through product Life cycle management
  4. Manage commercial supply risks, and report & share to line management of the Supply Change Management (SCM) department
  5. Propose commercial supply chain strategy, according to organizational or product strategy, with line management or product managers through appropriate decision making governance.
  6. Manage supply chain set up for Launch Excellence in the Japan market.
  7. Manage the refinement of commercial supply chain for the Japan market in LCM phases in order to ensure robust continuous supply with effectiveness and efficiency.
  8. Establish better partnerships with In/Out-licensing partners by formal meeting and discussions
  9. Immediately realize supply risks and share with SCM line management together with mitigation proposals
  10. Develop capabilities in supply chain expertise, knowledge, experience, and leadership, as a next generation Supply Chain Planning & Project Manager.

Requirements


  1. 3+ years' experience in the following cross-functional areas:  supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, product development, project management, sales & marketing, quality, purchasing, finance, or legal.
  2. 5+ years of pharmaceutical experience related to pharmaceutical technologies and operations, including supply chain.
  3. Must have thorough knowledge of all aspects of product commercialization including project management, supply chain management, operations, outsourcing and post commercialization technical support.
  4. Must be able to present ideas with clarity, conviction and confidence. 
  5. Must have business level Japanese/English capabilities with strong verbal/written communication skills.
