Responsibilities
- Build and manage systems and applications team
- Lead the systems team to define and develop new products and system solutions
- Lead the applications team to support customers including the customer board design and evaluation
- Mentor direct reports, giving appropriate guidance and support, and reviewing technical and behavioral performance regularly.
- Lead cross functional activities among digital/analog/FAE/marketing teams
- Conduct appraisals, make remuneration decisions, proactively manage performance and drive development for team.
- Delegate project tasks appropriately, ensuring the entire team follows procedures and evaluation practices that are required by internal methodology guidelines.
- Communicate company and team goals and ensure all team members identify the relationship between company strategy and their contribution.
- Collaborate with the VP of Engineering to develop, manage annual budget, define the strategy and goals for the group and drive the resultant actions.
Requirements
- BSEE+12 years, MSEE + 8 years, or PhD +5 years
- Demonstrated deep experience, knowledge and skills in power management ICs
- Demonstrated excellent teamwork, management skill and leadership in multiple projects
- Track record of successful new product/solution development, releaser or application design-win supports.
- Strong communication, technical presentation and documentation skills
- In depth knowledge of organisational objectives, including business trends and market awareness.
- Strives for continual improvement in all aspects or work including policies and methodology.
- Ability to organise, delegate, budget and plan team to meet departmental objectives.
- Strong leadsership skills with an ability to foster a commercial, collabroative and learning environment.
- Mentor direct reports and review technical and individual performance regularly
- Collaborting with Senior leadership to develop team objectives in accordance with wider company strategy.
- Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Results-oriented and able to deliver on-time under tight schedule pressure.
- Flexible to undertake occasional international travel at short notice.
