Responsibilities
1. Researching new verticals, use cases, client-profiles and target prospects that will support the growth of the Japan Enterprise business.
2. Generating new leads to pursue according to the profile of our key clients and verticals. Identifying and qualifying Enterprise leads and prospects and driving engagement to generate a sales qualified lead (SQL) for the sales team
3. Building a pipeline through industry research, forums, channels and in collaboration in conjunction with the sales and marketing teams. Following up on and qualifying warm inbound leads arriving through our website or marketing events such as trade shows and webinars.
4. Identifying and qualifying relevant prospects and identifying the right contact person from each company or enhancing data using external data sources. Engaging prospects with an introduction on the value proposition and further segmenting opportunities based on their size, potential and strategic relevance.
5. Build a pipeline of leads through inbound and outbound efforts
Requirements
1. At least 4 years of experience in Sales Development / Lead Generation, including cold calling & discovery emails
2. Ability to probe and question and get meaningful insights about a client and to identify solutions that support a customer’s needs
3. Strong verbal and written communication in English & Japanese
4. Persistent, ambitious, results driven and highly motivated
5. Organized and detail oriented
6. Strong research capabilities
7. Ability to understand complex business models and tailor a pitch around them
8. Confidence to pitch and connect with C-Level executives in medium and large sized companies
9. Experience in managing opportunities and workflow using Salesforce.com, or similar CRM
