An American based company, one of the largest in the spirits and wine business.
Responsibilities
- Import and Customs clearance coordination
- Work closely with trhe company's, suppliers, freight forwarders, 3pl warehouse to coordinate shipment schedules, resolve issues related to orders, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Interaction with customs brokers regarding customs clearance including control and review of customs clearance activities.
- Responsible for preparation a set of import documents for customs clearance,
- Monitor product import processes to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness and inventory balance in warehouses
- Assist the manager to monitor delivery performance by 3PL, resolve and coordinate deliveries issues with CS and 3PL
- Work with marketing team and external vendor for label coordination and label orders.
- Identify areas for process improvement within import and logistics operations, propose and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- SAP reporting and data check for import operations.
- Verify and process invoices from 3PL
- Monitor and analyze customs brokers KPIs performance and apply actions for their improvement
- Prepare reports on the number of ordered, imported, received products and goods in transit
- Monthly and yearly book closing for import/logistics
Requirements
- Bachelors or Equivalent
- 2+ years experience in the supply chain, import operations and logistics
- FMCG sector experience
- Business English and fluent Japanese
- SAP Experience
