Multinational Leading Digital Payments company. The firm manages a two-sided proprietary global technology platform that links customers, which consist of both merchants and consumers, to facilitate the processing of payment transactions.

Responsibilities


  1. Define and acquire Large Enterprise level Merchants to use the company as their transaction payment platform and establish it as the leading online payment platform for domestic and cross-border transactions.
  2. Develop and manage a sales pipeline to deliver against a revenue target
  3. Analyze the merchants’ business environment and needs, understand internal politics, and pitch proper value propositions vs. Key competitors.
  4. Be comfortable building and reviewing pricing models and building compelling commercial pitches.
  5. Ensure the merchant delivers best-in-class company experiences to our consumers.
  6. Lead and drive initiatives to deliver business results, co-working with cross-function teams.
  7. Act as primary liaison with external and internal vital contacts (Sales, Marketing, Product Marketing, Operations, Merchant support, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, etc.) for merchant acquisition and engagement matters.

Requirements


WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree is required.
  2. Min 8+ years of experience in new sales acquisitions, with a proven track record of success in building new businesses and customer portfolios.
  3. Prior experience in marketing to corporate customers, contract negotiations, and experienced in new account acquisition.
  4. Experience in E-Commerce and Payment segments is highly preferred.
  5. Comfort with Data / Analytics and using it to advise Merchants, monitor and track effectiveness/performance, and drive decision-making is a must.
  6. Able to communicate with all the level of corporate customers, including C-level
  7. Business level of verbal and written skills in Japanese and English.
  8. Personal solid connections in specific customer segments where opportunity exists are preferred.

  3. Strong project management skills - leading, analyzing, prioritizing, developing, and providing clear direction and influence across cross-functional teams.
  4. Able to work effectively in a high matrix, dynamic, and fast-paced environment and is open to change.
  5. Confidence and ability to work on delivering multiple projects, which are often complex and high-volume.
  6. Ensures that information is correctly processed and that work complies with relevant internal and external rules, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  7. Willingness to learn. Confidence in enjoying the fast-paced work environment
