Multinational Leading Digital Payments company. The firm manages a two-sided proprietary global technology platform that links customers, which consist of both merchants and consumers, to facilitate the processing of payment transactions.

Responsibilities


  • Support development of the funding strategy for company’s APAC credit portfolio, working and collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Help to identify and evaluate funding options based on specific objectives and criteria, and present recommendation(s) to management
  • Work closely with Credit and Strategic Finance teams to build business cases and financial models by determining impact on cash flow and providing financial insights on funding in support of new initiatives requiring capital
  • Quantify impact of funding plan on long term liquidity, financing needs, and credit ratings
  • Manage the credit capital cash model used to analyze funding and capital allocation options
  • Lead the structuring and execution of capital market, financial, or strategic transactions corresponding to approved funding plan
  • Conduct corporate credit analysis on existing partners and potential new relationships
  • Help define and manage related financial risks on the balance sheet; support the recommendation and execution of strategies to manage such risks
  • Collaborate with Treasury and FP&A teams to forecast company’s capital and financing needs
  • Produce ad hoc analysis and presentations as requested by senior management
  • Track and monitor funding-related financial performance measurement metrics for company’s credit business to drive efficiency around allocation of capital / invested dollars
  • Build reporting infrastructure related to the above responsibilities; develop insightful dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Python, or other web-based platforms

Requirements


  • 5-7+ years in Investment Banking, Structured Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Strategic Planning, or similar area
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail; can manage and deliver multiple projects with speed and accuracy
  • Experience with building and running complex financial models utilizing VBA and macros, data modeling, and statistical analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing knowledge of accounting and forecasting concepts in developing financial projections with full sets of financial statements
  • Keen ability to ask the right questions, and question / validate assumptions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; enjoys turning complex quantitative analysis into insightful and concise narratives when presenting
  • Great at working effectively with internal groups, and passionate about building relationships across organization
  • Self-starter with a desire to quickly learn and excel; willing and able to start, oversee, and complete projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to operate in a highly complex cross-functional matrixed organization structure to drive direction, decision making, and priorities
  • Skilled at dealing with ambiguity, comfortable working under pressure, and able to multi-task and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines in fast-paced environment focused on results
  • Maintains highest standard of professional and ethical behavior, with high integrity, and operates with a diverse and inclusive mindset
  • CFA preferred
