Network & Communications Manager

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Information Systems & Technology, Apple Japan. Your roles and responsibility includes:
Management and admin of WAN, LAN and Telecom service and products.
Management and support of standard OS, desktop applications and services.
Working with the Applications Team to determine appropriate infrastructure requirements to support the business.
Responsible in evaluating & deploying the appropriate technology to meet the business requirements.
Management of local NCS group including budgets and resources.
Work closely with the Global and Regional Network & Desktop teams to ensure adherence to global systems, standards and processes.
Lead global or regional implementations.
Provide formal and informal training for users and group members on network and internet services.
Work with vendors on new services, products or support & maintenance.

Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in management roles.
Solid network and telecommunication knowledge and skills.
Experience with web/intranet/internet technologies would be an advantage.
Proven track record of project management and effective vendor management.
Regional or Global experience.
Excellent communications skills working with all levels of staff including senior management.
Fluent in Japanese and English. Non-Japanese are eligible to apply if they speak Japanese.
