Responsibilities
In charge of financial controlling activities in regard to commercial business, insurance and credit card business, operating expenses and funding.
Act as a business partner to work with the business lines to achieve the company targets (volume, margin and cost)
- In charge of treasury back-office function including daily payments and closely work with a regional treasury center on cash flow planning, treasury transactions and ABL implementation.
- Timely and accurate reporting to the HQ (actual, budget, forecast & ad-hoc) including -Performanalysis proactively, monitoring and steering of the responsible areas versus budget.
- Evaluate proposals from the business departments and make suggestions from financial point of view to enhance the profit of the company.
- Lead budget & forecast process, align with business partners & management and steer the company targets in line with the Budget targets the management decision making through various reports and analysis. This include making relevant presentation to stakeholders and management.
- Involvement in related projects and implementation of relevant systems.
- Report to Senior Manager, Controlling, automobile insurance, credit cards, company-wide SG&A expenses, and financial control operations in the areas of financing costs.
- As a business partner, working with the business side to achieve the company's targets (sales, profit margins, costs)
- Responsible for financial back office operations. Daily payment operations, working with the Treasury Center in Singapore to plan cash flows, raise funds, and securitize receivables
- Provide high-precision reports (results, budgets, forecasts, as needed) to the head office within deadlines. In addition, we will communicate appropriately with the relevant departments of the head office and inform them of the progress of business in Japan
- Provide opinions from a financial perspective in order to maximize the company's profits
- Lead the process of creating budgets and forecasts, coordinate and collaborate with the business side and management, and steer the achievement of targets - prepare various reports and analyses. support management decision-making and make presentations to relevant stakeholders and management
- Participate in relevant projects and implement relevant systems
- Report to the controlling senior manager
Requirements
- Experienced in area of Financial Analysis or similar finance roles for +5 years.
- Knowledge in treasury instruments with treasury back-office experience would be a plus.
- Analytical, objective and commercially driven approach to work with business lines to achieve relevant budget targets
- Abilityto communicate effectively and to present key points concisely and in a structured way
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders within a limited time and to influence the management level
- Strong team work ethic to meet tight deadline with good quality works
- Language,Japanese (native), English (advanced, able to negotiate and discuss business matters effectively and persuade listeners)
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- More than 5 years of experience as a financial analyst
- Knowledge of financial products and experience in financial back-office operations preferred Supports achievement
- Communicates effectively and presents points concisely and systematically
- Communicateswith various stakeholders within a limited time frame and influences decisions at the management level
- Emphasizes teamwork
- Excel & Power Point advanced level
