Responsibilities


About the position

We are looking for a financial crime compliance manager to build product expertise on AML / CTF, fraud and sanctions on financial crime risk. This concerns not only existing services offered to users, but also services planned to be developed in the near future.

What you'll be doing

  • Actively engage with key front-line stakeholders to advise on AML / CTF, fraud and sanctions systems, controls and risk design.
  • Identify risks and issues of AML / CTF, fraud and sanctions, escalate to national or global senior management (including MLRO / Financial Crime Countermeasures Headquarters) and provide feedback.
  • Respond to escalations from the first line and provide practical advice on the required actions.
  • Define group standards for managing financial crime risk monitoring, investigation, and reporting processes, and assist management in ensuring that standards are applied company-wide.
  • Provide input to the design and execution of testing programs for financial crime risk monitoring, investigation and reporting processes.
  • Input to financial crime countermeasure procedures and their validity
  • Verify that systems and controls are adequately addressing AML / CTF, fraud and sanctions risks.
  • Providing employee training on AML / CTF, fraud and sanctions risk
  • Track regulatory changes related to financial crime control and ensure they are implemented to maintain compliance.
  • Support in responding to inquiries from regulatory agencies and partners regarding financial crime countermeasures
  • Promote a culture of compliance within the organization

Requirements


  • Have at least 3 years of work experience in financial crime prevention advisory services specializing in monitoring, investigating and reporting AML / CTF transactions at a financial services company or regulatory authority regulated by the Financial Services Agency.
  • Deep insight into legislation to prevent the transfer of criminal proceeds, FATF guidance, and other international regulations
  • Proactively identify situations that may pose significant compliance risks in the field and guide management in developing / reviewing / updating relevant policies, procedures and practices.
  • Ability to validate, investigate and report financial crime countermeasures and provide guarantees
  • Promote compliance reviews and analysis of new regulatory trends and maintain monitoring of trends affecting business activities.
  • Work with your internal compliance team (financial crime, compliance operations, risk & control, etc.) to identify the clear steps needed to mitigate regulatory risk and provide those recommendations in the form of clear business requirements. ..
  • Assist management and board reporting and escalate important compliance and high-risk issues within the existing governance structure.
  • Those with deep strategic thinking who can work at a fast pace across many functional groups and manage Revolution's business needs.
  • Those who are committed to and actively involved in world-class compliance and independent monitoring of this important issue.
  • Professional qualifications from internationally recognized organizations are a plus (eg ICA, ACAMS)
  • Business level or higher English skills.
