This role will support revenue generation and brand awareness within Japan by developing, executing and tracking demand generation campaigns to drive and nurture leads, build pipeline, and accelerate opportunities to close. This position will work closely with Company's Sales to plan and execute integrated campaigns.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who maintains a balance between setting a strategic plan for marketing that will support the region whilst executing at a high quality and rapid pace. You should have experience developing marketing plans that cater to the unique needs of the Japanese market, preferably in a B2B SaaS / developer-centric enterprise company. A strong focus on analytics, measurement and ROI are crucial. If you have a bias for action and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to make things happen, this could be the role for you!
This role reports into the Director for International Demand Generation Marketing based in the UK.
What will you do:
Work with Marketing Demand Generation and Regional Sales Leadership to strategise, build, execute and track impactful quarterly, localised integrated marketing campaigns, in order to meet and/or exceed quarterly pipeline and revenue targets.
Collaborate with the following marketing teams: Digital, Growth, Product, Brand, ABM, Communications, Marketing Automation and Developer Relations.
Drive and execute key local activities including: company Events, webinars, executive roundtables, speaking opportunities, trade show sponsorships, and integrated marketing campaigns. All with methodical end-to-end planning and co-ordinated sales follow-up, measurement and results tracking.
Manage the creation of local language : campaigns, collaterals, digital and web content, supported by translation agencies.
Manage an annual territory budget and deliver the best possible ROI.
Utilise systems and tools such as SalesForce, Marketo and Tableau to execute campaigns and analyse pipeline / opportunity attribution data.
Manage numerous projects simultaneously, in a dynamic multinational environment.
5+ years professional work experience in B2B Japanese marketing campaigns, preferably in the SaaS or enterprise software markets.
Consistent track record of driving full funnel multi-channel direct and partner marketing prospecting lead gen campaigns ideally to SaaS / ISV : Developer, Architect, Product Management, and CTO audiences preferred. Additional experience to broader IT Professionals, IT Security & Compliance professionals beneficial.
Native verbal and written Japanese language required. A high level of English is also needed (The company is an English speaking global company).

Proficient user of sales and marketing automation tools (Salesforce, Marketo, and similar tools).
Strong communications and presentation skills for all levels of the organisation.

Decisive with the ability to shift gears between thinking and doing.
