Responsibilities
1. Lead formulation of Automated Marketing strategies for Japan, in consideration of target customer segments, competitive environment, our program’s strengths and areas to invest for future innovations
2. Manage, improve and innovate paid traffic programs, such as Sponsored Links and Google Shopping Ads. Drive topline while managing marketing budget, meeting ROI criteria.
3. Drive free traffic programs, including Search Engine Optimization and Social Marketing communication.
4. Innovate, launch, and grow new online marketing programs, in such areas as social media and display ads.
5. Deliver results and help meet or exceed goals in sales, profitability, new customers, and various high-value programs such as Prime membership and Mobile App engagement.
6. Work with other functional teams within the Japan Consumer Marketing team as well as Marketing finance team to find new Business opportunities
7. Work closely with international stakeholders, in areas of Automated Marketing Channels, Mobile, and Website Platform. Make sure the company’s infrastructure, architecture, and site features support and enhance the effectiveness of Automated Marketing team’s programs.
8. Identify the unique opportunities and challenges in Japan Market segment by leveraging the learning from Customer Insights and drive new product and feature innovations for automated marketing as products.

Requirements
1. 10+ years mix of retail / promotion experiences, preferably in e-Commerce business
2. Passion for metrics and quantitative/qualitative analysis, and ability to turn analysis into actionable marketing plans
3. Business level English to collaborate with international stakeholders
4. Deep knowledge of Japan Internet industry and strong passion to make Japanese customers happy
5. Experience of managing people and skills to effectively direct team’s efforts toward goals
6. Demonstrated skills in managing complex processes with multiple business owners,making trade-offs against business priorities
7. Demonstrated ability to work with global technology and business teams
