 As a senior software developer you will work in a dynamic and evolving environment following the strategic direction of KPMG Japan. You will develop, maintain and improve systems to meet particular needs, often as advised by systems architect. You will also do testing, test automation and bug fixing.
1. Analyzing user requirements of the software solution.
2. Design software solutions based on user requirements
3. Lead teams / projects from a technical prospective
4. Establish the best development practices and ensure they are followed within and across the teams
5. Ensure timely delivery of release milestones
6. Responsible for delivering software solutions meeting quality benchmarks
7. Writing, testing and improving software modules.
8. Analyze software modules and improve them to be performant, re-usable and maintainable
9. Analyze software solutions and improve them to be reliable and scalable
10. Review team members submitted code and provide them with improved ideas
11. Continually updating technical knowledge and skills.
1. Experience of 7+ years in developing cutting edge technical solutions.
2. Experience of 2+ years in leading teams/projects from technical prospective
3. In-depth knowledge and experience (work / hobby) in back-end and front-end development.
4. Basic knowledge and experience in cloud computing
5. Basic knowledge and experience in machine learning
6. Being able to translate architecture designs into well structured, tested and documented source code
7. Good working knowledge of data structures, algorithms and database technologies
8. Hands on development experience with at least two of the following programming languages: C, C ++, C #, Java, Scala, Clojure, Swift, Python, R
9. Experience working with teams with Agile / Lean Approaches.
10. English Communication Skills - Business or Higher Level
11. Japanese communication skills helpful but not necessary.
