 This leader is expected to contribute beyond their respective categories to help define and drive projects to improve buying systems/processes, identify and resolve defects, reduce waste and improve overall efficiency in order to position our physical products for long-term growth. Coordinate product launches and process improvements with international partners in order to drive the Gift Card business at scale within and beyond Japan.

1. Provide ongoing analytics and analysis to insure accurate lead time, safety stock, review cycle, order methods, min/max points, and usage for all part numbers.
2. Create reports and analyze new platform arrivals, identify and address gaps in coverage.
3. Execute stock re-balancing through transfers between locations and purchasing where needed.
4. Manage inventory.
5. Receive and review requisitions requesting goods and verify compliance.
6. Expedite orders and requests as needed.
7. Monitor performance and capabilities of vendors to ensure maintenance of delivery, quality, and price commitments.
8. Participate in global Planning and purchasing Projects
9. Requests, review and audit of purchases, purchase requisition (PR) / purchase order (PO) generation and management.
10. Vendor sourcing and competitive bidding.

1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in procurement supply chain.
2. 5 to 7 years in planning / procurement / supply chain with demonstrated knowledge of Inventory Planning management, Vendor performance management.
3. Japanese and English fluency
4. Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and draw conclusions.
5. Maintain key operational metrics that measure supply chain performance driving continuous improvement.
6. Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to overcome obstacles and deliver results.
7. Strong proficiency in analysis tools including Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau and statistics software

1. 3+ years experience working with Supply Chain operations tools and process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
