The Head of Commercial Analytics & Insights will personally support - as well as lead a team in supporting - Japan’s Pharma Business Unit (JPBU) ample Business Intelli-gence needs. This will include, but not be limited to roadmap & capability definition, business analysis, business consulting, requirement gathering, project management and team management. The role requires a person who can combine an ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels in the organization, who has deep domain experience in Analytics in one industry (not necessarily Pharma) and who is well versed with technology and the plat-forms and systems that support the business.


1. Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise (Breadth and depth of knowledge, application and complexity of technical knowledge)
2. Knowledge in Big Data Concepts and application of these concepts with Big Data tools for storage, ingestions and analytics
3. Knowledge of visualization tools like Qlik, Tableau or Microstrategy
4. Knowledge of Commercial relevant data sources like ERP Financial data, Salesforce/ CRM, IMS, etc.
5 Leadership (Vision, strategy and business alignment, people management, communication, influencing others, managing change)
6. Ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
7. Proven ability to lead a team of direct and indirect reports in a global organization
8.A strategic mindset, able to capture business priorities and articulate those into Commercial Analytics solutions
9.Able to clearly communicate and foster alignment
10.Able to create a technology roadmap and to lead a team towards this technology roadmap
