2-16 Guidewire Implementation Consultant

1. Design, develop and unit test solutions using Guidewire Insurance Suite Product.
2. Lead a Guidewire Insurance Suite Integration development sub team that is part of a larger implementation team. Approx. team size 5 -10 staffs.
3. Provide technical integration leadership, guidance, coaching for the team to deliver.
4. Review design and code of team members and peers.
5. Manage scope, estimate work, build plan and schedule, track and deliver to plan.
6. Clearly communicate, work with onsite/offshore teams and client as required to deliver effectively.
7. Work with other internal IT teams (including client, onshore and offshore) to complete project activities.

1. IT Consultant experience.
2. Good technical background in Core Java, XML, SQL.
3. Knowledge of one or more RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server).
4. Sound knowledge of modern software architectures, design patterns, and development techniques.
5. Application of structured software development techniques including requirements analysis, functional decomposition, modeling, prototyping, functional design, estimating and testing.
6. Knowledge in at least one Software Configuration Management tool like SVN, CVS etc.
7. Working knowledge of one or more SDLC methodologies.
8. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
9. Near-native or native Japanese level.
10. Business English level.

Nice to have:
1. Strong Guidewire Integration skills (v8.0 or above)
2. Desired areas of technical expertise include GOSU, PCF, XML.
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire InsuranceSuite (v7.0 or above)
4. Strong understanding of the Guidewire platform (UI, Data Model, Studio etc.)

Supplementary Skills:
5. Tomcat and/or Websphere
6. Guidewire Certification
7. Working knowledge in at least one JEE framework (preferred but not required)
8. Rating integration (preferred but not required)
