1. Build and manage localization process and guideline with teams across Japan, Global team and outsourcers.
2. Drive key localization projects by interacting with global team.
3. Provide translation, editing and quality checks of the contents when necessary.
4. Validate shopping experience for cross border shoppers to identify area for improvements on co.jp site including collecting VOC and validating customer experience for cross border shoppers.
5. Use a set of software and editing tools to build multi-language web pages and localize category specific campaigns.
6. Create contents for website, email, social media, banner in English.
7. Solve problem creatively by using available metrics to identify issues and make recommendations on go forward localization.
8. Build and maintain strong cross functional partnerships with technical and functional teams.


1. Minimum of 2 years of expertise in localization/internationalization project, or online editoria.
2. 1+ years working experience as a professional editor for English language quality assurance.
3. Fluent in Japanese and English.
4. Be obsessed with English linguistic quality even when under tight deadlines.
5. Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
6. Experience in the field of localization or editing and experience with HTML, XML.
