Responsibilities
1. Management of sales agents and 3rd party sales reps.
2. Channel management of other agent business including journal print sales and sales of electronic products.
3. Jointly develop and roll out global agent strategy.
4. Design and agree individual agent sales and marketing plans.
5. Complete agent agreements.
6. Roll-out and train agent policies, processes and reporting/ monitoring metrics within the company and to Agent staff.
7. Educate agents on the company’s goals.
8. Attend and lead monthly agent calls.
9. Channel conflict management.

Requirements
1. Five years + agent sales work experience.
2. Relationship builder with commercial drive.
3. Analytical and financial/systems skills.
4. Previous exposure to Sales, Marketing or Operations.
5. Good knowledge of Elsevier products and processes preferred.
6. Prior experience with legal contracts and negotiations preferred.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
8. Fluent in English and Japanese + strong preference for Korean.
9. Education: University Degree, preferably MBA degree.
