Position:
Interest Rate Product Controller NEW!
Salary(¥): 8 - 9 million
Responsibilities
1. Supervising and reviewing the daily P&L production, attribution analysis, and new trade review for one or more of the groups trading books.
2. Month-end book close and review
o Review of the front to back reconciliation process.
3. Day-to-day liaising with the trading desk, Market Risk Control Dept, Operations, Valuation Review Group and others regarding issues relating to P&L.
4. The candidate will be managing 1~2 junior staff within the team in TK, and supervising Singapore controller team responsible for P&L production and reconciliation. There could be a potential rotation to different product area within Fixed Income controller.
Requirements
1. Knowledge of Interest Rate products is essential.
+ Vanilla Interest Rate Derivatives / Bonds / Futures
+ Exotic Interest Rate/Fx Options
2. Strong Excel skill, preferably VBA knowledge.
3. It is imperative that close control of the interest rate desks is maintained given the inherent risks of the business.
4. Risk awareness and the ability to challenge items that seem irregular are an essential part of the role.
5. Providing timely, accurate and professional responses in a deadline driven role is one of the main focuses of the group.
