1. Manage the entire P&L of the Business Unit including Sales, Engineering, and Sales support--from plan creation, objective setting and management, to year-end results, including all HR management within the MBU.
2. Develop and manage the yearly Business Plan, P&L, Capital and OpEx budgets for the MBU; and to set and manage the objectives of each group.
3. Lead the development of Global and Key Account plans, objectives setting quarterly reviews and execution of those plans.
4. Drive Mergers and Acquisitions activities fin Japan from targeting of potential targets, first level due diligence; meetings with target management/ownership through acquisition strategy and final execution; leadership of post acquisition integration activities.



1. University Degree or equivalent Professional Certificate.
2. Engineering or Service: Experience in management of an Engineering and/or Service Group preferred.
3. Basic understanding and/or experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems required; Extensive understanding of Oracle/JDE strongly preferred.
4. Manufacturing Operations Management experience preferred.
5. Strong public and group speaking and presentation skills.
6. Strong business report writing skills.
7. Ability to perform basic analysis of P&L statements.
8. Green or Black Belt Certification strongly preferred.
9. Personnel Management: Experience of a group or business with 15 or more in total.
10. English language competence—reading, writing and comprehension (TOEIC score of 750+)
11. Japanese Language native level preferred; Speaking, Reading and Writing competence required.
