Responsibilities

1. Identify and bring to the company new world-class, cutting edge OD practices under the overall guidance of the Head OD and in line with the local business needs and OD strategy.
2. Lead, design, implement and monitor OD approaches and initiatives, aimed at achieving organizational goals and building organizational capability in Japan. (e.g. plan and implement associates communication strategy, lead initiatives to develop the company’s culture – OneLife/Reborn/Diversity & Inclusion/Life Work Integration/V&B/Recognition, effective management of HR Management Advisory Committee to develop organization capabilities, effective tracking of OD initiatives and organization/head count, etc.).
3. Diagnose, design and facilitate team interventions to support teams’ journey to becoming high performing and ensure follow-up on action plans (both local and global facilitation of HPT-High Performing Team).
4. Lead the buildup of capability and readiness of the line management and HR organization in areas of OD expertise (e.g. change management skills, organizational design, culture, team effectiveness, employee engagement, organization climate, etc.)
5. Build dialogue between different parts of the organization in order to diagnose organizational issues and plan actions, act as an internal consultant in specific parts of the organization where particular business issues need to be addressed.
6. Lead the interaction across members of the OD network contributing ideas & solutions to the global HR network.
7. Bring global perspective to local processes and vice-versa. 

Requirements

1. Bachelor degree
2. Fluent in English and Japanese
4. 10+ years of experience in design and execution of OD programs and solutions in a highly matrixed environment
4. Very strong consulting, communication and relationship building skills
5. Deep Organizational Development experience across numerous OD disciplines
6. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing a company OD plan linked to business growth and objectives
7. Demonstrated experience facilitating OD interventions/programs with senior level executives and other levels in the organization
8. Deep expertise in Organization Design, Change Management, & Building Culture
9. Track record of successfully leading large-scale organization- wide projects and changes
10. Ability to network with and influence senior HR and line leaders
11. Senior level business and/or industry knowledge
12. Proven strategic skills combined with drive to lead implementation
