Responsibilities
1. Interview executives at prospect companies to determine business needs or problems.
2. Map challenges to proper solution components and determine appropriate configuration.
3. Gather requirements and develop proposals to customers and partners.
4. Assist in development of value propositions for proposed solutions.
5. Create customized demonstrations with software.
6. Present education sessions and software demonstrations to prospects.
7. Provide solution and functional expertise to sales opportunity strategy.
8. Participate in trade shows and other marketing events.
9. Maintain expertise in Solutions.
10. Build and maintain domain expertise in various industries.
11. Architect solution in the early design stage of projects.
12. Travel is approximately 30-60%, mostly 1-2 nights/trip.

Requirements
1. Minimum of five years of software solution pre-sales experience.
2. Fluent in English and Japanese.
3. Minimum of two years in a Supply Chain/ LES/ MES/ ERP functional role (either business or I.T.) providing familiarity with business processes and practices.
4. Strong understanding of business in the region.
5. Experience in business process design for production or logistics.
6. Knowledge of manufacturing and logistics process (Production planning, inventory.
management, Warehouse and logistic, Sales and distribution, SCM).
7. Industry knowledge of our target industry; High-tech, Auto, CPG.
8. Consulting skill to assist customer.
9. Ability to explain latest technology with business acumen.
10. Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal & written).
11. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
12. Good organizational skills.
13. Good Knowledge of MS SQL Server and Oracle Databases.
14. Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, hardware, and devices.
15. Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and Supply Chain principles.
Education: Bachelor or Masters degree in related field.
Additional Skills:
The following skills will be considered a plus when reviewing candidacies:
1. Experiences in a Major consulting firm.
2. Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and / or Warehouse Management System / Supply Chain.
3. SAP or Oracle applications experience is a plus.
4. Business Process Certifications, such as APICS, CPIM.
5. Strategic Program Certifications, such as Six Sigma Black Belt.
