1. Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable legislation. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems. Approve actions on human resources matters, including salary administration.
2. Manage staff by assigning them with their responsibilities when necessary, by establishing goals that will increase knowledge and skill levels, and by delegating tasks commensurate with skill level.
3. May participate in the selection and on-boarding process for new staff by conducting candidate review and participating in the interview process. Ensure staff have the appropriate materials, systems’ access and training to complete job responsibilities.
4. Introduce and lead changes in internal business process and serve as an expert resource to internal and external management at all levels.
5. Supervise and participate in the preparation of various financial statements and reports.
6. Direct the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, operating expenses, and insurance records.
7. Coordinate the preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
8. Develop financial reports outlining the Company’s position in areas of income, expense, taxes and utilization based on past, present and future operations.
9. Participate in the review and monitoring of client invoices, contract budgets and actual time spent on projects.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

10. Bachelor’s degree and 7 years’ experience in accounting, may be part CPA (or equivalent) qualified or studying; with previous line management experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
