Responsibilities

1. Maintenance of general ledger, accounts receivable and payable.
2. Maintenance of inventory ledger (recording goods receipts and issue).
3. Costing of individual products at material cost level.
4. Preparation of monthly sales and material cost at product group level for reporting.
5. Sales order and purchase order processing.
6. Manage petty cash.
7. Prepare accounting data for CPA firm to prepare financial statements and tax reporting.
8. Manage and maintain filling system in accordance with department procedures.
9. Summarize monthly personnel leave status, salary advances and overtime for payroll preparation.
10. To monitor and advise management on costs, expenses relating to employees.
11. Perform year end closing. Preparation of schedules for closing of accounts and audit requirements. To liaise with the Auditors for annual audit.
12. To assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts as per Group requirements and for management.
13. To evaluate and monitor Capex proposals within the budgeted amounts.
14. To follow up with customers for payments and advising logistics in preparation of documentation for import and export.
15. To prepare cash flow forecast per Group requirements.
16. Monthly and any other ad hoc reporting per Group requirements.
17. To prepare and maintain regional P & L accounts in line with Management requirements.
18. Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
19. Follow the company’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures and the instructions of the responsible Supervisor and Group HSE.
20. Bring to the attention of the Supervisor or Group HSE of potentially hazardous situations.

Requirements

1. Qualified Accountant and member of recognised Accounting body e.g. Japan CPA, ACCA, AICPA etc. is preferred
2. Good command of spoken and written English
3. Knowledge of local/regional laws of tax and custom rules
4. Excellent MS office applications skills
4. Knowledge of group policies and procedures
5. Excellent Communication skills
6. Solid knowledge in ERP systems and use of MRP.
7. Candidate should possess strong management accounting skills
