1. Support in planning and executing strategic communications plans to drive awareness for the Video business.
2. Develop and manage the execution of television series publicity campaigns with series talent where applicable.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media.
4. Manage external public relations agency on strategy and daily operations.
5. Keep current on trends, issues and news about both the business and entertainment industries.
6. Effectively represent as a spokesperson for assigned businesses as necessary.
7. Work closely with the PR and marketing teams in Japan and globally to maximize mutual effects.


1. Bachelor’s degree.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in entertainment PR, film and/or TV PR, consumer tech in-house or at a PR agency, and/or corporate communications for an entertainment studio or digital entertainment company.
3. Experience executing product launches, press tours, speaking engagements and driving an overall product narrative and PR plan.
4. Network of media contacts in entertainment/culture beats, consumer, consumer tech, news, and broadcast.
5. Excellent self-starter and responsible team player with commitment to delivering results.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, corporate environment and to manage ambiguity as priorities change.
7. Excellent writing and verbal communications skills in Japanese and English.
