1. Manage aspects of company’s internal events for Tokyo-based employees including bi-annual All-Hands meetings, other celebratory events and PR events.
2. Manage editorial calendar and content on Intranet homepage, balancing input from key internal stakeholders across a range of businesses and geographies.
3. Research, write, edit and post news stories for the Intranet.
4. Coordinate with internal teams – HR, legal, PR – to support review of employee communications and announcements.


1. Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field.
2. 5+ years of internal and/or employee communications experience with an emphasis on employee events and intranet communications.
3. Excellent written and verbal communications skills in both Japanese and English, including experience in crisis communications and issues management.
4. Event experience managing multiple stakeholders, external agencies, venue planning and on-site coordination.
5. Ability to work with all levels of employees, including senior leaders.
6. Strong project management skills with keen attention to detail.
7. Outstanding relationship-building and customer service skills.
8. Ability to exercise judgment, particularly in narrow time-frames.
