1. To ensure the highest quality consumer data on studies by designing world-class questionnaires based on client objectives/knowledge, and to serve as a liaison between the account team and the appropriate Operations departments.
2. Reviews proposals and discusses design issues to ensure accurate field specifications are given to the Field Department
3. Collaborates with analysts and client on basic study objectives, client issues, study design, and proposal with supervision from senior staff
4. Schedules and updates studies in the STAR database within appropriate study timeline
5. Serves as a liaison between the client, account team and the appropriate Operations departments, with supervision from senior staff
6. Translates client objectives and analyst data needs into survey questions, respondent sample, and interview designs, with supervision from senior staff
7. Serves as the client contact on the questionnaire, test product, concept stimuli, and data collection
8. Coordinates, communicates, and documents all study issues, deadlines, schedules, and changes utilizing the appropriate tools
9. Creates field materials as needed and reviews concept stimuli, with supervision
10. Checks CAPI program, Keeps electronic version of questionnaire current during field
11. Ensures error-free columnization, as needed
12. Manages questionnaire translation process, as needed


1. BA / BS Required
2. Experience in related field
3. Attention to detail, Client service/Multi-tasking/Organizational skills
4. Language: Japanese and English (Effective Written and Verbal communication skills)
