1. This position will be accountable for the development and execution of creative sales strategies for existing customers and new customers to grow business in Japan as Account Manager for individual accounts.
2. Responsible for driving all sales and transaction increase related activities.
3. New business development to expand acceptance at new merchant segments and execute merchant programs to drive usage at new merchant segments.
4. Maintain current customer relations & building new customer relations in major banks/finance institutions/Social Commerce/VAN/Department Store/Duty Free/TELCOS/1st tier Merchant.
5. Implement partner strategy that support the market development plan and drive incremental revenue to the company that creates value for acquirers and issuers alike in Japan. Strong focus on traditional payment tools as well as the market roll out of new product initiatives such as O2O.
6. Coordinate sales and administrative activities.
7. Prepare weekly and monthly reports and follow up activities and process customer requests through email and phone remotely.
8. Execute order from sales head of Japan in daily basis and arrange customers meetings in creative manner, Able to think out-side of box.
9. Establish good customer relationship management through meetings and gather feedback to consistently improve local exposure.
10. Working with the HQ on the planning of competitive strategy including business plan and action plan.
11. Supporting pre-sales activities by responding to RFI, RFQ, RFP, Term Sheet, MOU, preparing and delivering technical transaction presentation and demonstration to customers, partners.


1. Minimum 5 years of Direct Sales experience in major banks/finance institutions/Social Commerce/VAN/Department Store/Duty Free/TELCOS/1st tier Merchant.
2. Understanding of Transaction Technologies and competitive vendor and reseller environment.
3. Excellent Understanding of Japan Merchant.
4. Experience in selling and business development achievement in Japan.
5. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
6. Strong Relationship Skills.
7. Should have proven Sales Track records.
8. Able to think out-side of box.
9. Desperate, Passionate in nature, Self-driven and highly motivated.
10. Solid experience in business development in the local market, preferably in cards and/or payment industry, with demonstrated success of driving profitable business growth.
11. Good analytical skills and negotiation skills.
12. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
