1. Identify new content opportunities and partnerships with Japan and US studios and local licensees.
2. Analyze international digital video content market segment conditions, challenges and opportunities.
3. Negotiate license agreements with large and small content providers to secure high demand content for the service.
4. Work closely with the Video team leaders to develop new services and product offerings.
5. Analyze results to drive improvements in acquisitions strategy.
6. Develop and document acquisition plans, financial metrics and goals for senior management.
7. Drive continuous improvement in all operational aspects of the company’s relationship with its digital content suppliers.


1. Strong financial acumen and adept at quantitative analysis.
2. 5+ years of experienced in a high volume account management, licensing or business development role.
3. Proven ability negotiating complex license or business development agreements in high pressure environments.
4. A track record of success in content licensing and/or business development.
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
6. Excellent data analysis and quantitative skills.
7. Ability to adapt to a quickly changing, fast-paced environment.
8. Strong working relationships with multi-national and local content providers.
9. Must be bilingual (English and Japanese).
