1. Contributor to Extended Product team.
2. Manages assigned Market research budget to continually gain greater value.
3. Contributes to planning for assigned products/franchises, especially analysis/ forecasting/ performance tracking.
4. Seeks innovative ways to measure impact and effectiveness of marketing activities.
5. Provides timely and useful data upon which decisions can be made, and recommends actions based on data.
6. Key contact with research agencies under manager’s supervision.
7. Acts as the “antennae’’ of the organization for market changes & events.
8. May interact with GHH colleagues under manager’s supervision to ensure global alignment for assigned products/ franchises.
9. Undertakes periodic field visits to hear the Voice of the Customer (both internal & external) and includes this perspective in all activities.


1. Experience in business ( business research, product management, promotion, consumer marketing, customer management, Sales, Sales promotion etc).
2. Effectively working in cross-functional (and perhaps cross-geographical) teams to achieve a result.
3. Declared interest in data and analysis.
4. Knowledge of company Marketing and/or Pharmaceutical Industry is a plus.
5. Worked outside Japan is a plus.
6. Experience in Field Sales is a plus.
7. Knowledge of relevant therapeutic area is a plus.
8. Entry level Market Research experience in pharma or other industry is a plus.
9. Tertiary education, MBA (or other post-graduate degree) well regarded is a plus.
10. Major in Marketing, Math/Statistics or business preferred but not required is a plus.
11. Satisfactory conversational English is mandatory, as well as effective reading/writing of English is a plus.
