Position:

1-23 Software Architect Engineer (Staff level)

Salary(¥):

Responsibilities

1. Performs software tradeoff analysis based upon the above inputs, capturing rationale for all significant architectural decisions.
2. Responsible for creating software implementation report (SIR), and product specific high level design (HLD) during platform development.
3. Makes decisions involving tradeoffs and partitioning between software subsystems and provide technical analysis / reviews in support of platform software integration.
4. Leads design forum meetings with respect to platform development issues and general software architecture
dissemination.
5. Ensures quality to platform software deliverables.
6. Aligns with software core teams to evaluate new technologies, suppliers, 3rd party software vendors etc. in support of product line architecture strategies.
7. Responsible for clarifying and / or resolving issues in the Product Line Architectures as raised by the core software team and software delivery team.
8. Analyses defects and propose corrective / preventive actions for improved product quality.(product line level).
9. Collection and cascading Lessons Learned (LLs) within product line and / or across product lines as appropriate.

Requirements

1. Experience in IVI(In-Vehicle Infotainment)
Platform/product level conceptualization, Defining architectures for
IVI system, integration of multimedia /acoustic, native and remote UI, connectivity features WiFi/Bluetooth, Vehicle networks and system infrastructure services.
2. Experience with Linux based Software systems and Automotive Infotainment software architecture, design and development.
3. Continuous development of product software architecture, design concepts and development standards.
4. Good knowledge of Open Source software in product development.
5. Experience in Evaluation of SoCs, Linux distro and development tool vendors ) and assessment of partnerships for technology development and scope definition (Make/Buy decision process).
6. Experience in application/Communication frameworks facilitating component integration.
7. Experienced in leading Customer Quotes/Technical reviews (esp. Japanese OEMs.
