1. Lead our organization’s business development and partner management efforts.
2. Define and deliver overall strategy for engaging with partners, including prioritizing partners, negotiating agreements, and managing ongoing relationships.
3. Serve as the subject matter expert for drafting agreements and driving negotiations to close and onboard partners.
4. Develop C-level relationships with new partners; Build and grow external partnerships.
5. Work with key internal stakeholders (e.g. product, legal, marketing) to execute plan and deliver results.


1. 8-10 years of business development experience in the internet, mobile device and/or high-tech and retail industries.
2. Ability to think strategically, innovatively and creatively using sound business judgment and quantitative skills.
3. Strong negotiation skills with history of proven success at high level negotiations.
4. Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
5. Passion for metrics and quantitative analysis, and ability to turn analysis into actionable programs.
6. Strong problem solving, attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
7. Native in Japanese and fluent in English.
