Position:

11-29 Head of Mobile Publishing

Salary(¥):

15-19 million

Responsibilities

1. User Acquisition management – Plan and execute all activities related to user acquisition.
2. Title Launch Marketing - Plan and execute marketing for new title launches.
3. Sponsored Virtual Goods - Build sponsored virtual goods propositions and present to potential sponsors. Answer for agreed annual revenue targets for this.
4. Budget control - Monitoring and control marketing spending and return.
5. Budgeting - Plan and proposals for annual marketing budgets and title by title allocation and adjustments to this based on results.
6. Reporting - Ensuring complete visibility into online marketing effectiveness with minimal manual effort and revise strategies as necessary. Build reporting around ROI vs Life Time Value analysis.
7. Relationships - Manage and strengthen external marketing partner relationships.
8. Business Development - Propose big ideas to significantly increase installs and brand perception.
9. PR - Handle all PR for our team in cooperation with global PR teams.
10. Coordinate and share - Coordinate and share knowledge and plans with global marketing function and lead efforts to integrate local operation with global solutions, system and practice, such as CRM system.
11. Team Management - Manage direct reports of mobile publishing team.

Requirements

1. Strong product knowledge, ability to assess pros and cons of a game, hit potential.
2. Solid understanding of the key success factors of mobile games/mobile publishing in Japan.
3. Experience based understanding of Japanese mobile market and users.
4. Market network – key talents, platform providers, channel partners.
5. Strong direct marketing / mobile marketing / media planning experience.
6. Proven ability to create strategy and drive execution with customer-centric mindset.
7. Strong analytical skills, modeling, forecasting, testing, budgeting.
8. Ability to cultivate extensive network of contacts at all levels.
9. Strong negotiation skills and communication skills.
10. Results-oriented leader, entrepreneurial mindset.
11. Comfortable with ambiguity, able to operate in cross-functional environment with several functions (Mobile, PR, CRM, Product, Creative, Customer Service etc).
12. Social media experience is a strong plus.
13. Flexibility, Bias for Action, Innovation.
14. Sufficient working level spoken and written English.
15. Hands-on experience launching, marketing and servicing mobile games in Japan, preferably a top 10 game.
