Responsibilities

1. As a Senior Consultant in Reward, Talent & Communication, you will be responsible for leading project teams, managing experienced talent, and facilitating the development of less experienced associates through coaching and mentoring. You will also be responsible for initiating business development opportunities, generating revenue and managing client relationships on a day to day basis.
2. Meet or exceed performance standards for financial management, client relationship management and work quality.
3. Project manage the work of other associates in a way that ensures profitable revenue for, associate engagement and development, and high client satisfaction.
4. Contribute to building an employer of choice culture and teams that consist of top performing associates committed to client satisfaction, teamwork & excellence in all that is done.
5. Be a positive role model of values.
6. Lead project team of associates, managing experienced talent, and facilitating the development of less experienced associates through coaching and mentoring.

8. Think strategically in partnering with clients to form unique approaches to solving their business problems.
9. Personally provide high quality consulting advice and deliverables to senior leaders in client companies in the areas listed above.
10. Develop and manage selected key accounts in a way that results in long term client relationships with multiple lines of service across practices.
11. Make a contribution to Japan initiatives which support regional business results.
12. Work closely with Line of Business Leaders to create, then implement business plans that achieve profit and revenue goals.
13. Initiate business development opportunities, generate revenue and lead projects in the area of Reward/Talent/Communication & Change.
14. Assess the marketplace for client opportunities, then nurture qualified leads into profitable new business wins.
15. Work closely with Segment, LOB and Practice Leaders and other senior consultants to create, then implement business plans that achieve profit and revenue goals.

Requirements

1. Minimum 3 years of successful experience in adding value to client business results (ideally in a consulting role). The experience with financial industry especially bank and securities industry or telecom industry is preferred.
2. Strong market knowledge and established local network.
3. Skilled at establishing credibility with management teams or boards and in discussing complex client business issues and potential solutions.
4. Expertise in either Reward, Talent Management or Communication and Change Management.
5. Track record of helping clients achieve their business goals through targeted human capital initiatives.
6. Demonstrated ability to build strong client and associate working relationships.
7. Proven project management skills.
8. Proven ability to lead and develop a team of high performing consulting professionals.
9. Self driven achiever with a value for teamwork, collaboration, decisiveness, integrity in all that is done.
10. Strong presentation skills.
11. Good command of both written and oral English.
