1. Responsible for adding selection from new and existing publishing relationships.
2. Manage relationships and negotiate contracts, including major publishing partners.
3. Working with publishing partners, contribute to the timely delivery of digital assets to ensure "in stock" on the first possible time and date where we have the rights to sell the product.
4. Build internal and external metric reports that drive new selection.
5. Coordinate with accounts payable and vendor payments to ensure agreement terms are executed accurately.
6. Work with internal and external partners to resolve merchandising and content receipt issues.
7. Influence the whole publishing industry to drive the shift to digitization by presenting the positive effect and sharing success stories through various industry bodies.


1. Strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiation and overall relationship management.
2. Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills are musts.
3. Candidate must be an effective leader and communicator and a seasoned problem-solver.
4. Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment is essential for success.
5. Minimum 5+ years of relevant sales / business development experience required.
6. Bachelor's degree required.
7. Fluency in Japanese and proficiency in English are required.
